Our first sweatshirt
Strike True.
A shield with a crossed hammer and shuttle on the back, and the round Anvil & Loom badge on the sleeve. Strike True is the first piece of clothing we are making, and it is nearly ready.
It isn't on sale yet. Follow along and you'll see it first.
The story
Forged and woven.
Two old crafts sit behind the name. At the anvil, metal is heated and struck until it holds its shape. At the loom, thread is passed back and forth until it becomes cloth. One is fire and force, the other patience and rhythm.
Anvil & Loom brings them together: the hammer and the shuttle, crossed on one shield. Everything we design starts from that idea: things made with care, meant to last, worn by people who like to make things too.
The forge
Hammer
Heat, strike, shape. The anvil gives us our grit and the steel grey in our colours.
The loom
Shuttle
Thread by thread. The loom gives us the craft of cloth, and the reason we make clothing.
